I’m starting to do on the side photography out of my home for family& friends.Idea what to hang background on?

I’ve got a great camera, wonderful fabric for backdrops but need idea for hanging backdrops on. Someone suggested a shower rod. But haven’t a place to put it. Any other ideas or tips on starting would be great and well welcomed.

You can actually get a great background stand for about $99. Even less if you search a bit more and determine what your needs are (height, etc.). Check out B&H (www.bhphotovideo.com), which is where I got mine. It goes to almost 10′ high and 9′ wide.

I started out the same way photographing pets with no background support and found out quickly it didn’t work. Remember to get clamps, too. I’ve found at least 2″ clamps are best.
