I’d like to join a forum about photography for beginners. Any advice? Thank you?
I upgraded to a Canon 60D DSLR last year and I’d love to learn how to take good shots specially outdoors. I got myself a couple of books by Scott Kelby but also I’d like to chat with like minded people.
I would advice you not to join a beginner forum since most of the people there would be… well… beginners 
In my experience, I seldom see any forum that rejects beginners and you will always find open minded people to give you very good advise.
The best practice if you want to learn is to post your pictures on a website like deviantart or even flickr and ask for critique.
You will find all kind of people on any forum so it is hard to say that one forum is more “like minded” to you than another one. Just ask questions or ask for advise and if no one answers, the forum is probably not good for anything.
